Nature is pretty... and we thank it by burning it to the ground ^^ Finally a nice type render I was following shinybinary's tut on texturizing type renders...but it got sooo boring and so incomprehensible that I decided to do this instead...
Edit: changed sig ---------------------------- Photoshop CS4 C4D ---------------------------- Stock Concrete Texture[link] vines[link] bonsai[link] owl[link] All the other crap from sxc.hu ---------------------- Comments and s very welcome...and I think it's big enough to use as a wallpaper... so go nuts!! ^^
Some of the blending needs improving, on the grass and on the tree for instance it's very noticable. You should use a curves adjustment to colour match some of the bits as well, again, the bird on the right has blue sky between his feathers. Nice overall, just lacking a bit on execution.
lol I know... I've been working a lot on correcting color using Adjustment layers as well as color balance....but I can't seem to get it right yet aant it frustrates me >.<
Curves is really the best tool for it in my opinion. I never do anything without a final go over with that wondrous tool. Here's a useful tut on how it actually works. [link]
I also find that the LAB colour mode is often quite intuitive, more so than CMYK or RGB.
