Overall Vision Originality Technique ImpactMorpheus... the god of dreams, right from the go I'm drawn into the nightblue landscape.
The thought of illustrating the god of dreams is a huge challenge in my mind and I'm pleased to say i find this piece to deliver an excellent execution. Challenge met and overcome, I say.
The playful battle or team-work of the blue and green light plays well to balance each other and the picture itself. They pull my eye around and drawn me to all the details.
Therein lies the wonderful execution to me, the details, twinkling stars, runes in his tattooes, snow on the mountains, milky white eye. I really feel nothing has been left to chance and everything has a thought behind it.
I do feel that this could very well be a personification of Morpheus, very well done.
